Don't believe me? Try tracking EVERYTHING you eat for the next 2 weeks. Use a tool like myfitnesspal (available at www.myfitnesspal.com or in the app store on your smart phone) to help you track what you eat, and how many calories you consume. For the first week, eat normally. The second week, stick to fruits, veggies, complex carbs, lean proteins, and drink LOTS of water...AND watch your portion sizes (to check how many calories you need, try this website http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm). At the end of the 2 weeks, look back at how your diet affected your energy and how your clothes fit.
